The resettlement process for refugees and immigrants is not easy. Each program participant’s hard work to become economically self-sufficient, despite all the challenges and obstacles he or she faces, is truly inspiring. This year, Nile Sisters oversaw the following participant achievements:

  • 16 completed CNA training
  • 11 earned CNA licenses
  • 12 completed child-care training and earned licenses
  • 23 received six hours of behind-the-wheel drivier’s training
  • 12 earned a California driver’s license

Nile Sisters acknowledges and thanks the following for their assistance in making dreams a reality for our constituents. Program partners: International Health Group, Safety School of Driving and Community Care Licensing. Program sponsors: Office of Refugee Resettlement, San Diego Women Give, and Cox Cares.
