Google Computerized Translation Tool
The Nile Sisters Development Initiative website offers visitors the convenience of Google™ Translate to translate language automatically across this website. The Translate menu appears at the top right corner of every page.
After selecting a language from the Translate menu, the tool will translate the current page and all other pages in this website during a visit until the user closes the browser or selects a different language from the Translate menu. Depending upon the volume of web traffic at any given time, Translate may take several seconds to completely rewrite page content in another language.
Google™ Translate cannot translate text appearing in photographic images. Users who find translation accuracy questionable should refer to the English translation, the only official version.
Compliance with National CLAS Standards
Installation of Google™ Translate clearly demonstrates Nile Sisters’ commitment to comply with the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health (OMH) National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health Care, commonly referred to the National CLAS Standards. These 15 standards are a strategy to help eliminate well-documented health inequities in the United States by tailoring services to the cultural and language preferences of diverse populations.
